On Second Thought

I've been reading the 101/1001 forum in Ravelry and maybe I shouldn't just throw out my 101 things. Maybe I should do what I intended which is to keep tweaking the list until February 1st. That makes more sense. I'm reading where other people have some daily things on their lists, too.

I bought a book today to help decide on some upcoming trips. It is titled "1000 places to see in the US and Canada before you die". I figure it's most likely that the next trip I take will be in the US or Canada anyway. Especially as long as the dollar is so weak (thank you Shrub). I had $125.00 worth of gift cards saved up to a local bookstore. Unfortunately, the store's quality has dwindled quite a bit and I had to really look for books that I wanted. Only manage to spend a little over $70.00. If I have to work to find books I want in a bookstore, it's a bad bookstore.

On the knitting front, I finished Monkey #1 (except for the toe grafting which I will do momentarily). Better go ahead and cast on #2 while the needles are still hot.

I LOVE the 101/1001 project!!! I'm going to have to try it when I get through all my already-planned projects.

Good for you!!!!! I'll have to check on Ravelry to see what everyone is coming up with!
